Riders may pay with cash or purchase ride tokens in advance.
Cash – Passengers must have exact change for fares. Drivers do not have access to money.
Ride Tokens – Passengers may purchase tokens form the People’s Transit office, drivers, or over the phone with credit/debit card or through the mail.
Fares – All fares are for one-way rides.
Youth (3 to 18 years of age) — $2.50
General Public — $3.50
Outside City Limits (up to 3 miles) — $4.50
Personal Care Attendant — Free
Personal Care attendants/Escorts – (PCA) are persons assisting those with disabilities and medical conditions.
Medicaid – People’s Transit is a non-emergency transportation provider. If you have Medicaid and need transportation service, People’s Transit will bill Medicaid for your transit ride. For medical transportation rides please provide you Medicaid number while booking transportation, which
